Is CBN Legal?
Very similar to CBD, CBN is among 100 plus molecules, naturally found in the hemp plant. When the 2018 Farm Bill removed hemp-based products from the Controlled Substances Act, specifically Federal laws under the “Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018” (2018 Farm Bill), it allowed legal consumption of hemp-derived products and interstate transportation of hemp, or CBD/CBN derived from Hemp.
As mentioned in Canna Law Blog™, “CBN comes from oxidation and decomposition of THC, meaning that when THC is heated and exposed to CO2 (oxygen), it converts to CBN. The compound is said to have a mild psychoactive effect, slightly more so than CBD but much less than THC. Specifically, it is said to have a sedating effect on most users and to have promising sleep aid applications, similar to melatonin (among other potential uses).”
What about Slumber Sleep Aid?
Slumber uses hemp-derived CBN and a proprietary formula for 100% legal consumer use with no compliance and distribution restrictions in the USA. We have been fortunate enough to study effects on CBN and sleep with our partnership out of Vail integrated Medical group.
Can you ship CBN anywhere in the United States? Can you sell CBN in non-cannabis friendly states?
YES! CBN (cannabinol) is legal in Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, and ALL other US states. In fact, numerous retailers in cannabis and non-cannabis friendly states are carrying Slumber CBN products for all of their customers to enjoy.
Slumber CBN is one of the few high quality, CBN based brands that offers a CBN products to customers coast to coast, with shipping in as little as 3-4 days.
Are all CBN (cannabinol) products legal?
In accordance with the FDA, as long as the product is derived from hemp and contains less than 0.3% THC, it is legal to sell, distribute, and consume in all US states.
It is important to look into the product supplement facts and COA (certificate of analysis), a lab report that looks into the chemical makeup of the cannabinoids, terpenes, heavy metals, solvents, and other contaminate profiles.
This means you can compare your COA to the product and ensure that you are avoiding THC and any other misleading marketing information. Sadly enough, a study done in 2017 showed 70% of CBD businesses were misleading consumers on CBD/cannabinoid content.
Slumber CBN tests all CBN with industry-leading laboratories like Botanacor, to ensure that consumers can feel confident choosing the best CBN product for their needs. Scan the QR code on your package and match it with the Batch ID number!
